Spyware Removal Review For Trojan And Other Viral Software

If you don't have the time to deal with creating a blog or maneuver software applications to produce optimal results, a hosted blog is the best choice. They are already created, and all you have to do is set up an account and get started!

Unlike extensive blog software like Wordpress that requires you to install software to your web server to manage all aspects of your blog, hosted blogs are already there waiting for you to get started. There are no software applications to learn, and nothing needs to be installed. These are blogs that are completely web based and can be used by any beginner.

There are several popular hosted blogs that are used by many bloggers. Many of them are free to use while others are not. Some well known hosted blog platforms include BlogSpot, Typepad, LiveJournal, and ViaBloga. The list can go on forever as there are hundreds: however, these four will be the primary focus.

BlogSpot is a very basic blog that is easy to set up and use. You can choose nice themes to go with your content. What's more, they allow for trackbacks. When using BlogSpot, blog spam is filtered as humans are required to type characters they see in an image before posting a comment. This is nice as you won't be spending so much time trying to clean all of the worthless garbage from off your blog's comment section. Developers constantly work on this blog enhancing the performance as well as adding new features.

Some of the cons are that there are limited features, and if you want to upload photos, you'll need additional applications.

TypePad is right up there with BlogSpot as far as popularity is concerned. The features are about the same. The blog is very basic, and it is widely used.

LiveJournal is another hosted blog that is well established. The community is very supportive as well. The admin interface is easy to use, and posting is no problem.

The cons of this blog platform are that should you get the free version, you are very limited as to what you can do. You can't have a Technorati claim unless you upgrade to a paid account.

ViaBloga is another reputable hosted blog with lots of wonderful features. The link management is awesome, and the wiki-like features are nice to use. Developers are always actively working on this platform always making improvements. The downside is that this particular platform is not free. Unless you want to fork out some money, you won't have an account here.

Before choosing your blog, make sure you consider all of your options before making your choice. Doing this will especially benefit you should you want to go the route of using a platform that costs to join.
